I first met Rebecca back in October 2024, when, by sheer chance, I saw a picture she posted on Nextdoor of two adorable little kittens.
After a quick chat with my wife, we contacted Rebecca the next day. Looking at the picture, there was no way I could consider splitting the 2 little boys, Midnight and Star. They were adorable and completely bonded to each other, and I know this was music to Rebecca’s ears.
We arranged to meet up, and I know there was a bit of hesitancy on both our parts. Was Rebecca a genuine fosterer, and were we suitable adopters to provide Midnight and Star’s forever home? Within minutes of meeting, it was clear that we had a deep love for all animals, especially cats. It was such a relief on both parts, and we agreed to wait until the right time before bringing them home.
During that wait, Rebecca always kept us informed of their progress and sent pictures of them doing crazy and adorable things. I would not hesitate to recommend Rebecca if you are thinking of adopting a cat or kitten.
The love that she has for them and the time and energy she gives is inspirational. I know she works with other fosterers and an RSPCA volunteer, and I am so thankful there are people around who love and care for the unwanted.
It is a shame that in this world, people like Rebecca are needed, as so many beautiful little pets are abandoned and deserted regularly. Thank you to Rebecca and all of her friends for the amazing help you give them.
You are all lifesavers!
