Let me tell you about Rosie and Oscar. These 7-month-old kittens are a bonded pair of beautiful siblings.
They arrived in quite a state, honestly!
A man had been keeping them in his garden, feeding them human food, better than living behind a dustbin, perhaps, but far from ideal. What is worse, he had no plans to spay or neuter them, which was pretty concerning!
After we gently explained the dangers of inbreeding and the serious risks Rosie would face if left unneutered, he agreed to surrender them.
Because of their limited human contact, the pair needed some extra care and attention. But with patience, love, and determination, they have begun to understand that humans can be trusted.
You will need to earn their trust and not expect instant changes, but if you are patient and respect their need to check you out before settling into your lap, you will end up with friends for life.
They are inseparable and need to be adopted together. Since they are a bit slow to warm up, I am looking for a pet-free home with no young children and safe access to the outdoors. They have been neutered, chipped, vet checked and are up to date on treatments for fleas and worms.
While they wait for a foster home or a forever home, Rosie and Oscar are at a cattery in Harrow. They are ready for a new home, whenever the lucky one comes along.
